Documentation for a projection mapping I did at the Sample Gates at Indiana University in the spring.
”This is Matt and Taylor’s Super Magic Fun Show. During the first half, the audience is presented with traditional Video Projection Mapping techniques (i.e. geometrical and abstract shapes, lines, outlines), the kind of stuff that gets the audience ‘oohing and ahhing’. In the second half we decided to take a different approach to the animations and instead of creating 3D objects to map onto the three-dimensional structure we implemented a more “YouTubey” feel using a majority of 2D animations.”

1ARM needed a gold material. So I wanted to see what I could come up with in 10 minutes before I came back from my break.
Included is the materials, dollar mesh, and motext that has been chamfered to give that “cut” gold bar look.

XPresso Material Switcher
I saw a post on reddit regarding someone who needed help with switching between a large set of materials, so I created this quick xpresso rig to help them out.
The material attached to the object is based off of the frame number in the sequence.
Just render out the amount of frames equal to the amount of materials you need to see.
